Today begins the first day of National Infertility Week. Infertility has always been a taboo topic even though we have been primed and educated to think about having children since we were children. The sad thing is 1 in 8 couples are impacted by this heartbreaking condition, and unfortunately, we rarely talk about it despite this disease being so common.

I’m 1 in 8 who has experienced infertility, I’m I in 4 who has experienced a miscarriage, and I was 1 in 50 pregnancies who had experienced an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
